Winners of the Inspiring Women in Local Government Awards will be invited to take part in an exclusive mentoring programme following the awards.

The programme will connect winners with experienced senior figures from across local government and the wider sector, offering an opportunity to benefit from one-to-one guidance, fresh perspectives and support with career and leadership development.

Mentors will be selected for the experience, insight and networks they can bring, and will give their time to help winners build confidence, explore future opportunities and consider the next stage of their career.

Inspiring Women Connect

All finalists will be invited to Inspiring Women Connect, an exclusive morning of development, discussion and networking ahead of the Inspiring Women in Local Government Awards.

Designed specifically for our finalist community, the morning will combine practical content, interactive sessions and peer-to-peer discussion, creating space to share experiences, explore career and leadership challenges and learn from women working across local government.

It will also offer a valuable opportunity to build new connections across councils, professions and career stages before coming together to celebrate at the awards.
